如何提高英语写作水平

　　实际上，英语写作和汉语写作差不多，它也需要兴趣、刻苦的训练、毅力等等。

　　In fact , English Writing is almost the same as Chinese Writing. It also demands interest、diligent practice、willpower, and so on…

　　一 、兴趣是最好的老师。

　　人们说“兴趣是最好的老师。”这一点儿也没错。兴趣对我们的英语写作非常重要，因为当我们很喜欢英语写作的时候，我们就会很自然地用英语去写。那么我们应该怎样去培养学生英语写作的一些兴趣呢?我想教师的因素很重要，比如上英语课时教师优美而标准的发音 、优美的手势、教师高深的知识 、严格的要求等等。

　　Ⅰ、Interest is the best teacher.

　　People says “Interest is the best teacher.” It is not wrong at all. Interest is very important to our English Writing, because we will go and write in English naturally when we are interested in Emglish Writing. Then how should we train some interest of English Writing of the students? I think the teacher's factor is very important, such as the teacher's graceful and standard pronunciation、graceful gesture in the course of giving an English class、the teacher’s advanced knowledge、severe demands,etc.

　　二、 刻苦的训练在英语写作中是最重要的。

　　“ 只要功夫深，铁杵磨成针。”我认为刻苦的训练在英语写作中是最重要的。为了写一篇好的文章，我们可以从练习写一些简单的英语句子开始，注意不要在拼写和语法上出错。我们还要牢记重要的单词、短语和句型,比如“be good at”、 “ It takes sb. some time to do sth .”、“ Wish sb. Sth.”等等。我们还可以背诵课文中的精彩片段，记一些著名的名言警句，比如“Where there is a will, there is a way!”等，这样，我们才能在自己的写作中将一些优秀的词句运用自如。另外一种办法是每天坚持写英语日记，我们可以把每天发生在我们身上的最重要和最有意义的事情用英语记录下来。第三种办法是练习写一个段落。什么是“段”?“段”就是详述一个中心思想的一组句子。它可以是一篇文章的一部分，或者像一篇小论文那样独立存在，它可长可短，不管其长度如何，一个段自身应该是完整的，能够给读者提供足够的信息。第四种办法是练习写应用文，例如便条、 书信、摘要，我们特别要注意其格式。这里我举一个表示感谢的便条的例子。

　　Ⅱ、The diligent practice is the most important in the English Writing.

　　“Perseverance spells success.” I think the diligent practice is the most important in the English Writing. In order to write a good article, we may begin with practising writing some simple English sentences, pay attention not to make a mistake in the spelling and grammar. We must remember the important words、phrases and sentence patterns firmly, such as “be good at”、“It takes sb. some time to do sth. ”、 “Wish sb. sth. ”etc. We may also recite the wonderful passages in the text, remember some famous proverbs, such as “Where there is a will, there is a way!” If we do so, we will have some excellent words and sentences used freely in our writing .Another method is insisting on writing an English diary every day. We may record the most important and meaningful things that happened to us every day in English. A third method is practising writing a paragraph. What is a “paragraph”? A “ paragraph ” is a group of sentences that develop one central idea. It may be a part of a paper or it may stand alone like a mini essay. It may be long or short. Whatever the length is, a paragraph should be complete in itself and provide adequate information for the reader.A fourth method is practising practical writing , such as Notes、Letters、 Re′sume′.We should especially pay attention to the pattern. Here I give an example of a note of thanks.

　　三、 毅力也是非常重要的。

　　我想毅力也是非常重要的。如果我们只是凭一时的热情用英语写作，我们永远也不会提高自己英语写作的水平。“冰冻三尺，非一日之寒。”我认为“坚持”是相当重要的。

　　还有很多提高我们英语写作水平的其它办法，比如勤奋 、谦虚 、 巧妙的设想等等。

　　以上我写的只是我个人的一些肤浅的看法，只是我自己的一些体会罢了，如果我说错了请批评指正。非常感谢!最后我有句话要送给大家，那就是“有志者，事竟成!”

　　I think the willpower is very important, too. If we write in English only by the temporary enthusiasm, we won't improve our standard of English Writing for ever.“ It takes more than one cold day for the river to freeze three chi deep! ”I think the“insistency ”is quite important.

　　There are many other methods of improving our standard of English Writing, such as diligence、modesty、ingenious imagination,etc.
